Before becoming an attorney, I spent nearly a decade working as a social worker, helping individuals and families navigate complex and often difficult circumstances. That experience taught me how to listen carefully, identify the real problem beneath the surface, remain steady when emotions are high, and help people make important decisions during periods of uncertainty.
