⚖️ Meet the Attorney Who Gets It—Because She’s Lived It

When you're facing a legal challenge, you don't just need a lawyer. You need a trusted guide who understands your situation and can help you find a path forward. As a solo attorney, I'm able to offer something unique: unfiltered, direct access to your legal counsel. When you work with me, you aren't just a case number handed off to junior staff. You get my personal attention and a strategy crafted specifically for you. My experience is what makes this personal approach so effective. I've dedicated my career to helping people navigate life’s most difficult challenges—first as a social worker, then as a legal aid attorney, and a legislative policy lawyer. This background means I don't just see the legal problem; I see the human issues at the heart of it.

Where Lived Experience Meets Legal Precision

Before I became a lawyer, I spent almost a decade as a social worker in hospital and mental health settings. This experience gave me an unparalleled understanding of the complex personal issues at the heart of every legal matter.

My legal career began as a Legal Aid attorney, where I tirelessly advocated for clients in divorce, family law, education, and housing disputes. I then transitioned to a poverty law nonprofit, focusing on housing justice and legislative policy work. This experience further honed my commitment to justice and helped me learn how to create systemic change.

This unique background is the foundation of my practice today. I combine my understanding of the emotional and practical realities you face with sharp legal precision to create a strategy built around your life, your values, and your peace of mind.

I Am Here to Help You Navigate:

  • Transactional, compliance, and mediation work for individuals and organizations.

  • Family matters such as divorce, custody, and child support.

  • Proactive legal planning, like drafting effective estate plans.

  • Litigation when it's the right course of action.

Whatever you're facing, you’re not alone. When you retain my firm, you're not just hiring a lawyer; you're gaining a strategic partner who is dedicated to helping you move forward.
