Bringing discernment, clarity, and a commitment to justice to every client relationship.
Family Law & Estate Planning — Chicago, IL
I am a licensed Illinois attorney, certified mediator, and certified collaborative divorce attorney. I am also the founder of My Illinois Court Navigator™, a first-of-its-kind suite of attorney-guided legal tools built to close the access-to-justice gap in our state.
Before law school, I spent nearly a decade as a master-level social worker inside complex family systems. That foundation deeply shapes how I practice law today—how I listen, how I assess conflict, and how I guide clients toward meaningful resolution without unnecessary warfare.
Beyond my professional credentials, I have navigated divorce personally. I know the emotional and financial weight of it. That experience isn't incidental to my practice—it is the exact reason I built a firm dedicated to amicable solutions and proactive planning.
Why I Practice Differently
Traditional legal systems often expect clients to fit into a rigid, adversarial box. I choose to meet you where you actually are. My work centers on resolution over litigation, helping Illinois families protect their peace, their assets, and their children through tailored legal strategies.
Whether you are uncoupling or building a safety net for your future, I offer a spectrum of care to fit your budget and your needs:
Full Representation: Comprehensive advocacy for amicable divorces and select contested family law matters.
Estate Planning: Proactive, compassionate planning—including wills, trusts, and powers of attorney—to protect your wealth, your wishes, and the people you love most as you enter your next chapter.
My Illinois Court Navigator™: Self-guided, attorney-backed digital products for clients who want professional oversight without a traditional full retainer.
Limited-Scope Services: Targeted legal help for specific parts of your case, allowing you to manage the rest on your own terms.
Divorce & Transition Coaching: A separate, non-legal service providing private, supportive guidance for those who want a steady, strategic hand through life’s toughest transitions. (Note: Coaching is educational and supportive, not legal advice).
You deserve an advocate who listens carefully, thinks strategically, and moves deliberately. That is the standard I bring to every client relationship.
